Ingredients

  • 1 large sourdough or ciabatta loaf
  • 1/2 medium onion (sliced)
  • 2 cup sliced mushroom
  • 1 lbs sliced roast beef, warmed
  • 2 plum tomatoes, sliced
  • 1/2 cup beef gravy
  • 5-6 slices of cheddar cheese
  • Black pepper
  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • EVOO
  • Garlic powder

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Saute mushroom, set aside
  3. Saute onions, set aside
  4. Slice loaf in half lengthwise
  5. Drizzle EVOO on cut halves and sprinkle garlic powder, place in oven for 5 min (Just to warm an lightly toast)
  6. Remove bread from oven
  7. Stack sandwich in this order
    • Tomato
    • Onion
    • Roast Beef
    • Gravy
    • Cheddar cheese
  8. Place bottom half under broiler for 1-2 min until cheese is melted
  9. Remove from oven and spread mayo on other half of loaf, combine, slice and serve
