The Big Al Sandwich

Ingredients
- 1 large sourdough or ciabatta loaf
- 1/2 medium onion (sliced)
- 2 cup sliced mushroom
- 1 lbs sliced roast beef, warmed
- 2 plum tomatoes, sliced
- 1/2 cup beef gravy
- 5-6 slices of cheddar cheese
- Black pepper
- 1/2 cup mayo
- EVOO
- Garlic powder
Directions
- Heat oven to 350 degrees
- Saute mushroom, set aside
- Saute onions, set aside
- Slice loaf in half lengthwise
- Drizzle EVOO on cut halves and sprinkle garlic powder, place in oven for 5 min (Just to warm an lightly toast)
- Remove bread from oven
- Stack sandwich in this order
- Tomato
- Onion
- Roast Beef
- Gravy
- Cheddar cheese
- Place bottom half under broiler for 1-2 min until cheese is melted
- Remove from oven and spread mayo on other half of loaf, combine, slice and serve
