Sofrito
From Auntie's Cook Book
Ingredients
- 1 red pepper
- 1 green pepper
- 1 large onion
- 1 head of garlic (peeled)
- 1 bunch of cilantro
- 1 bunch of culantro (recaito)
2 tbsp EVOO
Directions
- Place all ingredients in a food processor until smooth
- Pour into ice cube tray and freeze overnight
- Remove from tray, break up cubes and store in plastic bag
