Equipment

  • 12 in Camp Dutch Oven w/ accessories
    • Lid lifter
    • Gloves
    • Chimney starter
    • Trivet
  • Aluminum foil or Dutch Oven liner (Helps SIGNIFICANTLY with cleanup)
  • Small pot (for melting butter)
  • Kingsford Charcoal (Yes, Kingsford. Other charcoal does not produce consistent results)
    • Match Light may also be used, but will make Mr. Tucker die a little inside

Ingredients

  • 2 rolls of Pillsbury biscuits
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 stick butter

Directions

  1. Begin lighting charcoal about 30 minutes ahead
  2. Line Dutch Oven with foil or liner
  3. Tear biscuits into quarters.
  4. Mix sugar and cinnamon in plastic bag.
  5. Drop each quarter into bag and shake to coat well.
  6. Place in Dutch Oven.
  7. Melt butter and pour over biscuits, cover with lid
  8. Place 17 hot coals on the top and 8 hot coals underneath.
    • Be sure to spread them out evenly. Think of a clock, put a coal where each number would go and then
  9. Cook for 35 minutes, DO NOT TAKE LID OFF BEFORE TIME. This will release the heat at make it take longer.
