Lasagna

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs of ground meat (85/15 preferred) - beef or turkey
  • 32oz Ricotta Cheese
  • 2 lbs block mozzerella (shredded)
  • 2x24oz jars of tomato sauce or 1 batch of Marinara Sauce
  • 2 eggs(beaten)
  • 1 tbsp fresh oregano
  • 1 tbsp fresh basil
  • Ancestral Seasoning
  • 9 pieces of oven-ready lasagna noodles

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees
  2. Brown and season meat as per ancestors
  3. Add 2 cups of sauce to meat and warm through, set aside
  4. Add ricotta to bowl, add oregano basil and beaten egg. Mix and set aside
  5. Add 1/2 cup of sauce to bottom of baking dish
  6. Lay 3 noodles across mixure
  7. Spread 1/4 cup of ricotta mixure on each noodle, spred the entire length of noodle
  8. Spread 1/2 cup of meat sauce across entire layer
  9. Sprinkle 2 heaping handfulls of mozzerella on top of sauce
  10. Repeat steps 7-9, two more times
  11. Cover with foil, bake in oven for 25 min
  12. Remove foil, bake for an additional 5 min
  13. Remove from oven, let sit 15 min
