3 Cheese Turkey Burger

Ingredients

  • 1 lb 85/15 Ground Turkey (Shady Brook is preferred)
  • 1 egg (slightly beaten)
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 3 Tbsp Garlic Powder
  • 3 Tbsp Onion Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 4 oz crumbled blue cheese
  • 2-3 Tbsp of vegetable, canolas or avacado oil
  • Sliced pepper jack cheese
  • Sliced American cheese

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients together
  2. Scoop a billiard ball size chuck of meat, roll into a ball. Then form into patties
  3. Place patties onto backing sheet and place in freezer for 15 min
  4. Heat oil in pan until just smoking
  5. Cook patties for 4 min each side
  6. Place PepperJack on bottom of bun
  7. Melt American cheese on top
