===Ingredients===
*2-3 lbs Flanken Style Short Ribs
*1 can of Coke or Dr. Pepper
*1/4 cup soy sauce
*1/2 cup of red wine
*Seasoning of choice
*2 Tbsp vegetable oil
*2 Tbsp flour

===Equipment===
*Gravy separator (optional but makes things easier)
*Slow cooker or dutch oven
===Directions===
#Season ribs as per your ancestors
#Pour oil in skillet on high heat, brown each side in batches and place in slow cooker
#Deglaze skillet with wine, scrape up bits and pour in slow cooker
#Pour soda and soy sauce in slow cooker
#Cook for 3-4 hr on HIGH
#Remove ribs (should be falling off the bone)
#Pour liquid into gravy separator, keep 2 tbsp of fat
#Make roux with fat and flour, pour in separated liquid
#*Serve with rice, mashed potatoes or grits
